  Nate Anderson To Perform "Varieties of Patriotism" set on July 7, 2007 

            Nathan Anderson, a popular singer/song-writer from Sioux Falls, SD, will perform a "Varieties of Patriotism" set for the free folk music concert at the River Walk café on Saturday, July 7, 2007 in honor of our nation's birthday.  His patriotism set will include such favorites as "America the Beautiful",  "This Land is your Land", "Yankee Doodle", "Political Science" and "Times They Are A-Changin'". The July 7th concert will also feature Ellen & Friends, Eric Chap, Erin Hyronimus, Kathy Green, "Little Pink" Anderson, and the Sock Orphans.

            Nate's observations of daily life are expressed in his "Family Reali-Tunes" CD and his personal and professional experiences with children and adults with various disabilities are told in his "Disabili-Tunes" CD.  His performances also include favorites from traditional folk to classic rock and modern country.  Nate touches the listener's heart and funny-bone with a combination of guitar, harmonica, and rhyme,

            Nate has been honored by the Sioux Falls Education Association with its 1994 Human and Civil Rights Award and by South Dakota Voices For Children as a 2005 Champion For Children.  Nate works for the South Dakota Parent Connection, the statewide Parent Training and Information Center regarding children with disabilities and chronic health concerns.

            The July 7th free folk music concert performances will run from 7 to 10 pm at the River Walk ( and are brought to you by Folk RisingT  Productions, LLC ( with the generous support of more than 20 regional singers / song-writers.  The last free concert of this series will be on July 14, 2007 at the River Walk cafe.
